Fragrant and delicious Madagascar vanilla extract! Elevate your cookies, cakes and coffee with pure homemade vanilla extract. This is so much better than what you find in the grocery store, which many times is cut with water. This vanilla extract is made from just vodka and whole organic Madagascar vanilla beans and is brewed for over a year before being bottled. Each bottle contains two full vanilla beans, so it will continue to age and get stronger as it sits. Once you use enough where the beans are sticking out, you can either cut them up, so that they remains submerged in the extract, or simply lay the bottle down to keep them covered. Always best to keep vanilla extract stored in a cool, dark place. Once your extract is used up, you can use the leftover vanilla beans to make your own homemade vanilla sugar. It’s so, so good!

Bottles contain not only the full vanilla bean pods, but also vanilla bean seeds(the tiny black specs you see in vanilla bean ice cream). Give it a shake before you use it to incorporate the seeds into the extract. I love how the tiny bean specs look in baked goods as well as beverages. I think it looks more gourmet.

*I can also strain out the vanilla bean specs and leave out the vanilla bean pods. If you prefer to have JUST the extract without the seeds and pods, please specify that in the notes section of your order.*
